Attention All EBSU Aspirants: New JAMB Admission Acceptance Procedure Ebonyi State University (EBSU) wishes to inform all candidates that JAMB has introduced a new procedure for accepting admission offers. Once your admission status on the JAMB portal changes from "ADMISSION IN PROGRESS" to "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU HAVE BEEN OFFERED ADMISSION," you must follow the updated guidelines to secure your slot. Candidates are to note that the traditional method of clicking "ACCEPT" or "REJECT" buttons on the JAMB CAPS portal has been phased out. Admission must now be processed via SMS. The New Acceptance Procedure Using the mobile phone number linked to your JAMB registration, send one of the following commands to either 55019 or 66019 : To accept the offer: Text ACCEPT To decline the offer: Text REJECT Candidates with Lost or Inactive SIM Cards If you no longer have access to the phone number used during your JAMB registration, do not panic. Simply visit any accredited JAMB CBT Centre or the nearest JAMB Office to complete your admission acceptance through biometric (thumbprint) verification. Important Notice: Candidates are advised to complete this process immediately after their admission is offered. Delays may lead to complications or the eventual forfeiture of the admission slot.
