JAMB Opens CAPS to Tertiary Institutions for 2026/2027 Admission Exercise The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially granted Nigerian tertiary institutions access to the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for the 2026/2027 admission cycle. With this development, universities, polytechnics, colleges of education, and other institutions can now proceed with processing and uploading admission offers onto the JAMB CAPS platform. Consequently, admission notifications are expected to start appearing on candidates' dashboards in the coming days. All 2026 UTME and Direct Entry candidates are strongly advised to take the following steps: Regularly monitor their JAMB CAPS and admission status. Confirm that their O'Level results have been successfully uploaded to the JAMB portal. Accept or reject any admission offer immediately it appears on CAPS to prevent unnecessary delays. Candidates are urged to remain calm and patient as institutions begin the selection process. We wish every 2026 UTME and Direct Entry candidate the very best in this year's admission exercise.
